The throughline in my professional life has been a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me - I have a background in community law and now bring that passion for helping others to my work as a personal trainer.
With nearly 20 years of resistance training experience, I have a first-hand knowledge of the positive impact regular, well-structured exercise can have on one’s life. I am passionate about movement and have been inspired by a host of great teachers in a range of modalities - from yoga, to powerlifting, to Pilates and contemporary dance.
Some of my interests outside fitness include the arts, languages and genealogy.
My approach
I believe that everyone has their unique fitness story, and my goal is to tailor programs that not only align with your objectives but also keep you motivated and inspired throughout the process.
Attention to detail sits at the core of my training philosophy - whether it be in relation to fine-tuning individual movement patterns or optimising long term programming cycles. I take a conservative approach to progression that emphasises sustainable, long-term development.
By combining the latest scientific research with my hands-on expertise, I ensure that every session is highly effective at bringing you closer to your goals as efficiently as possible. I am an LGBTQIA+ friendly trainer and welcome clients from all backgrounds.
